What I mean is, I’ve heard J.K. Rowling already knew how the entire series was going to play out, all the way down to when Harry slew Voldemort, when she started writing the first book.

Having read The Deathly Hallows I can see that there are connections to just about every other book in the series, but it’s sort of hard to believe that Rowling had it all planned out from the beginning.
